Dr. George Dyck, D.V.M
Dr. Dyck is a Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University where he received his BS, MS and DVM (1976) degrees. While a veterinary student, Dr Dyck managed the veterinary owned book store and was class treasurer for two years. Upon graduation, he worked in a large animal practice at the Sioux Falls South Dakota Stockyards.
George relocated to California in 1978 and established an ambulatory equine practice as well as two companion practices. The companion animal practices were eventually sold to associates, but the ambulatory practice has remained for 33 years.
Dr. Dyck is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners and past president of the Equine Chapter of the Southern California Veterinary Association. He is also a member of Xi Sigma Pi and Beta Gamma Beta honorary societies and completed course work toward the MBA.
Dr. Dyck has been a Western Veterinary Conference member and Scientific program moderator for many years. He was elected to the board of directors in 2009 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He is an examiner in equine and bovine sections for WVC' administration of the AVMA Education Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduate Clinical Proficiency Examination.
Dr. Dyck enjoys business, particularly the stock market. George also loves a good joke, so be prepared to hear one or two while he visits your ranch!

Dr. Robert Ragsdale, D.V.M.
November 29,1944 - December 17, 2012
Our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Ragsdale lost his three year battle with brain cancer on December 17, 2012. Bob was one of those men who put everyone he met at ease. His country vet demeanor and practical nature made him unflappable in any situation, whether it be a colic at 3AM or faced with a diagnosis that would make any other person crumble. To see him pull up to the office with his two Aussies in tow would put us all in a better mood, and having a cup of coffee with him in the morning would always start the day off right. He was an incredibly gifted doctor who's knowledge of equine medicine was second to none. Those of us who called him friend were truly blessed and will always hold a special place for him in our hearts. Bob served his time on earth and earned his angel wings. We like to think of him above, hiking with his Australian Shepherds, which certainly would be his idea of Heaven.
Julie David has retired! Congrats to her, but we miss her so much!
There are 3 things our longtime clients can count on no matter what...1. Dr. Dyck will (9 times out of 10) tell a joke, 2. The doctors always go out of their way to give the best care possible and 3. Julie David will be a calm and compassionate voice on the other end of the line. As all things in life, time marches on and with that journey comes change. That said, as of September 1, 2016, Julie has moved on to a new adventure...retirement! As much as we are thrilled for her, we also miss seeing her beautiful smile each day! Congrats Julie! Enjoy your new freedom, but PLEASE stay in touch!!!
Julie was our Office Manager since November of 1988. She was truly the glue that held the clinic together. Julie had a vast knowledge of horses and the patience of a Saint. An avid lover of all things to do with nature, she loved to spend her free time camping and hiking with her husband Scott. Julie is a Mom of three and believe it or not, a Grandma of five adorable kids. Now Julie will be doing a lot more of what she loves with her wonderful family!!!!
Not to be confused with Dr. Roueche's wife Stacey, Stacey F. has known both Dr. Dyck and Dr. Ragsdale since she was a little girl. When the opportunity came up to help out part-time in the office years ago, she jumped at it! When she isn't at the clinic or managing this site, Stacey can be found working in the entertainment industry. When not doing that, she is taking care of her many rescued critters, working tirelessly with CLEAR (Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research) and keeping her husband Sean and her son Joseph in line. If you are able to get FIDO TV, you can check out the documentary Stacey directed on canine lymphoma, My Friend: Changing the Journey! As of September 1, Stacey will be taking over for Julie until at least 2017.
